Love-Based Curriculum and Ecological Service to Build Sustainable Local and Global Communities is the main theme of the International KKN-IK Program 2026 organized by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Universitas Islam As’adiyah Sengkang. This theme reflects the university’s commitment to integrating the values of love, humanity, spirituality, and ecological awareness into educational practices and community engagement across cultures and nations. The International KKN-IK Program is designed as a transformative learning platform for students to actively contribute to the development of sustainable local and global communities through educational, social, economic, and environmental approaches.

Through a love-based curriculum, this program emphasizes the cultivation of empathy, tolerance, social responsibility, and global citizenship. Meanwhile, ecological service is implemented through community-based initiatives focusing on environmental conservation, sustainable economic empowerment, green education, and the preservation of local wisdom. The International KKN-IK Program 2026 serves as a collaborative space for students, lecturers, local communities, and international partners to develop educational innovation, sustainable entrepreneurship, and socially responsible practices aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This program also strengthens the internationalization of the university’s Tridharma (education, research, and community service) by integrating various disciplines, including education, religious and cultural studies, languages, law, economics, social sciences, technology, and environmental studies into a holistic framework of community service. Guided by the spirit of universal compassion and mutual respect, the International KKN-IK Program 2026 aims to produce globally minded graduates with strong ethical character who are capable of becoming agents of change in building just, harmonious, and sustainable communities at both local and global levels.
